I am under 1,60 m (5.3) and weigth less than 50 kg.

Tenho várias amigas e duas irmãs do mesmo tamanho, e sempre que precisamos partilhamos os sapatos e roupas chiques.
But I'm happy with that !
I have lots of friends and two sisters in the same size , so we share shoes and fancy clothes whenever we need.
Durante a minha adolescência não era nada fácil encontrar roupa que me servisse. Na altura em Lisboa existiam poucas marcas que produzissem tamanhos pequenos, e quase tudo tinha de ser ajustado ou elástico.
Agora quase todas as lojas têm tamanhos XS e se for necessário sei que posso mandar ajustar as peças á minha medida.
When I was in my teen years finding clothes to fit me wasn't that easy. Almost everything was too big and very few brands were producing smaller sizes.
Now , I know I can always make some adjustments where needed and also you can find XS sizes in almost every store.
Outra descoberta fantástica foram as secções petite , que se podem encontrar em várias lojas online como : Top Shop, Asos.com e Miss Springfield.

- Escolham looks todos da mesma cor ou nos mesmos tons, pois isso vai alongar-vos a figura e vão parecer mais altas.
Dress yourself all in the same color or tones , this will elongate the figure and you'll look taller.

- Usem saltos altos (SEMPRE), mesmo um salto médio ou kitten heel faz diferença.
No Inverno devem usar collants e sapatos na mesma cor , as vossas pernas vão parecer mais longas.
Na Primavera optem por sapatos nude (ou cor de pele), para criar a mesma ilusão.
Always wear heels , even medium or kitten heels make a diference.
In winter wear tights and shoes in the same color, your legs will look longer!
In Spring go for nude shoes, to create the same illusion of longer limbs.

- Riscas verticais, são agora uma grande tendência, vão ajudar a alongar a silhueta.
Vertical stripes , so on trend , will also elongate your figure.

- Evitem peças muito grandes ou muito largas, porque vão desaparecer lá dentro...
Prefiram peças cintadas ou estruturadas como : um blazer ajustado ou um top peplum.
Em termos de comprimento , os tops não devem ficar abaixo da linha das ancas!
Avoid very large or too loose pieces , because if they're too big you'll get lost inside of them...
Go for fitted and strutured pieces like : a fitted blazer or a peplum top.
Tops should'nt go lower than your hips!

- As bainhas das saias e vestidos devem ficar acima ou pelo joelho.
Skirts and dresses must fall upon or stay above the knee.

Apesar da minha idade , ainda gosto muito de usar shorts. Mas não os uso justos , para ficar confortável têm que ser mais largos apartir da anca e o comprimento ideal é pelo meio da coxa (esta regra aplica-se também para as saias).
Outra dica importante é , usar padrões grandes nas zonas que queremos que pareçam maiores.
Despite my age , I still love wearing shorts , however I prefer them looser at the hips and below the thigh (this works for skirts too).
Another great tip is to wear bigger prints , that way you create an eye catch where you need most.

- Eu pareço muito mais nova do que sou na realidade, então tenho de ter cuidado quando usar peças mais delicadas como vestidinhos, folhos , rendas e lacinhos ( E EU QUE ADORO TODAS ESTAS COISAS...), para evitar parecer a irmã mais velha das minhas filhas (ODEIO ISSO!)
A próxima estação prevê-se muito feminina e girly , então todas nós (petites) devemos ter atenção para equilibrar o estilo delicado com peças mais fortes !
I look a lot younger than my age, so I have to be carefull when I wear delicate pieces , as little dresses and skirts , ruffles and bows (I LOVE ALL OF THEM!!), because if not I may pass as my daughters's older sister!
(AND I REALLY HATE THAT !)
This spring is all about feminin and girly looks , so all of us (petites) have to be carefull and balance the delicate pieces with tougher ones !
